Long description
When a production line operates under continuous load and the drive must maintain stable performance without unnecessary outages, precise motor sizing and its suitability for the power supply infrastructure are decisive. The H17R 355-A-8-6 model with an output of 200 kW is designed for the 700-750 rpm speed class, so it fits naturally into operations where a solid torque base, smooth starting and long-term drive reliability are important.
It is a medium-voltage asynchronous electric motor from the professional VYBO Electric range, which is based on the brand’s own research and development and is intended for manufacturing plants, technology suppliers and industrial companies dealing with the modernisation of existing drives. Thanks to its rated speed of 739 rpm, it provides a suitable compromise between pull, efficiency and operational stability in demanding applications.
Operation with lower losses at low speed
In low-speed drives, efficiency, thermal reserve and the ability to transmit torque without unnecessary strain on the system play a crucial role. This 6000 V electric motor achieves an efficiency of 94.5% and a power factor of 0.78, which supports more economical operation in segments where energy costs and the long-term availability of the technology are monitored.
It is also an electric motor for low-speed applications, for which the rated torque of 2585 Nm is also beneficial. Such parameters are suitable for drives that need reliable starting and steady running without excessive loading of the gearbox or the machine’s working part.
Construction prepared for long service in industry
The design is based on requirements for robustness and service reliability. The frame size of 355 mm provides enough space for stable mounting of the active parts, while the weight of 3270 kg and the rotor inertia of 6.8 kg·m² contribute to stable dynamics in operation with repeated loading. The copper bar squirrel cage rotor supports efficient energy transfer during starting and during steady-state operation.
Insulation class F and temperature rise B increase the operational reserve under longer load, which is especially important where the motor is expected to deliver reliable performance for many hours a day. The 6322-C3 bearings on both the DE and NDE sides are selected with an emphasis on operational durability and suitable rotor mounting in high-performance industrial use.
Temperature protection and bearing condition monitoring
For a motor of this power class, not only the mechanics themselves are important, but also temperature monitoring and protection during shutdown. The accessories include 6x PT100 in the winding, PT100 in the DE and NDE bearings, anti-condensation heating and 3x PTC, so the operator gains broader insight into the thermal behaviour of the machine and the conditions during starting, shutdown or longer periods of standstill.
- 6x PT100 in the winding helps monitor the thermal load of the motor’s active part.
- PT100 in the DE and NDE bearings supports early monitoring of bearing conditions.
- Anti-condensation heating reduces the risk of moisture during inactivity.
- 3x PTC adds protection in the event of a critical temperature rise.
Use in demanding industrial operations
- Drive for fans in large technological systems.
- Drive for pumps with a high requirement for stable torque.
- Compressor assemblies in the energy and processing industries.
- Crushing and grinding lines with long-term load.
- Transport and conveyor systems with higher output.
- Technological units in cement plants and raw material production.
- Modernised drives in metallurgical operations.
- Backup or replacement solutions for medium-voltage distribution systems.
Adaptation to supply voltages and modernisation
A major advantage when designing a replacement is the ability to match the motor to several voltage levels, which makes it easier to integrate into existing technologies without unnecessary interventions in the entire system. For operations with medium-voltage infrastructure, such an approach is practical when renewing drives, replacing older units and planning new lines with an emphasis on long-term service availability. If you need to recalculate the suitability of the installation or select the exact connection for your technology, send us an enquiry and we will prepare a consultation based on the operating conditions.
H17R 355-A-8-6 with a power of 200 kW, voltage 6000 V and nominal speed of 739 rpm is designed for stable operation under heavy load. The frame size of 355 mm and center height make it easy to match with a 3.3 kV, 6 kV, 10 kV or 11 kV network. VYBO Electric is a brand with proven background in supplies for industry.
