Long description
When modernising heavy-duty operations, it is important to choose a drive that can handle long-term load as well as a stable starting of the technological unit. H17R-355-A-2-6 with an output of 355 kW and a supply of 6000 V operates in the speed class of 2900-3000 rpm, so it is naturally suited to applications where smooth transmission of energy to demanding technologies is required and where the reliability of the entire line is also monitored.
This is a three-phase 6 kV motor designed for applications where high operational discipline, precise coordination with a converter or mains supply, and resistance to repeated loading are expected. In the VYBO Electric portfolio, this 6000 V electric motor builds on the manufacturer’s own research and development, which has long applied experience from industrial projects with an emphasis on reliable purchasing and long service life in operation.
Output and torque for heavy technological units
The rated output of 355 kW and rated torque of 1140 Nm provide reserve for drives where consistent transmission of energy to the working machine is decisive. The rated current of 40 A and power factor of 0.9 help with supply design, sizing of protection devices and assessing operating costs. Efficiency of 95.2 % also supports more economical operation in longer production cycles.
The motor has rated speed of 2975 rpm, so it fits into the segment of high speeds suitable for processes with demands for stable rotation and high productivity. The values of Tst/Tn 0.7 %, Tmax/Tn 3 % and Ist/In 6.8 % provide an important picture of behaviour during starting and transient states, which is useful when designing a drive for machine assemblies with impact load.
Frame size and construction for industrial integration
The 355 mm frame size makes it easier to match equipment designed according to the IEC frame size, which is practical when replacing an older motor or designing a new line. The weight of 3075 kg and rotor inertia of 3.3 kg·m² must be taken into account during installation, when designing foundations and when assessing starting dynamics. The copper bar rotor cage supports robust behaviour under load and contributes to suitable performance in industrial operations.
Monitoring elements that increase operational safety
The motor is equipped with insulation class F and temperature rise B, a combination suitable for reliable operation in environments with longer load periods. Safer supervision of operation is supported by thermal protection in the form of 6 x PT100 in the winding, PT100 in the DE and NDE bearing, anti-condensation heating and 3 x PTC. Such a solution helps to detect temperature deviations in good time and protect the motor against unwanted overheating or condensation.
Use in demanding industrial operations
This electric motor for high-speed applications is suitable for plants where reliable operation, precisely controlled load and service availability are decisive. It is suitable for drives for heavy industry, pumping systems with high delivery capacity, compressor technologies, large-capacity fans, crushing and mixing equipment, transport systems, rolling and winding lines, technological units in metallurgy, in the chemical industry and in power generation. The medium-voltage infrastructure in such operations requires a motor that can be reasonably integrated into the existing electrical system.
In drive replacement projects, bearing compatibility and service continuity are also often important. The DE bearing 6317-C3 and NDE bearing 6317-C3 are practical for maintenance and for planning shutdowns. Thanks to its sophisticated construction, the motor can fit better into modernisation projects where, in addition to output, efficiency, safety and long-term availability of spare parts are also monitored.
If you need a robust medium-voltage drive with proven parameters for your production technology, the H17R Compact PRO-MV from VYBO Electric offers a solution ready for technically demanding deployment. For the specific operating conditions and integration into your system, request a quotation.
H17R-355-A-2-6 with an output of 355 kW at 6000 V and a rated speed of 2975 rpm is intended for demanding industrial operations. The frame size of 355 mm according to the IEC frame dimension and the PT100 and PTC sensor equipment improve monitoring of motor operation. VYBO Electric draws on many years of experience in designing reliable solutions for industry. Long description
