Long description

In operations where efficiency, low losses and stable torque under load are important, the 4LC-200L1-2 with an output of 30 kW can reduce the energy demands of the drive without unnecessary compromises. This speed class of 2900-3000 rpm is suitable for technologies that must operate reliably and with an emphasis on economical operation. Compared with the standard IE3 class, the higher motor efficiency can bring noticeably lower losses in the supply network as well as in long-term daily operation, which is especially important in continuous processes.

The design is configured as a three-phase motor 400/690 V for direct connection to low-voltage distribution networks and for reliable operation at a rating where precise coordination with inverters and mains starting is expected. As a low-voltage asynchronous electric motor, it uses a solution based on advanced materials, sophisticated windings and optimised air gaps, thanks to which super premium efficiency and stable thermal behaviour are achieved. For the operator, this means a lower load on the distribution system, a better energy balance and a suitable basis for long-term operation in production.

Energy-saving operation in the 2900-3000 rpm speed class

In pumps, fans and compressors, not only the rated output matters, but also how the motor handles starting, transient states and long operating cycles. The rotor inertia of 0.2 kg*m² supports predictable acceleration, while the starting torque ratio Tst/Tn 2 and the breakdown torque ratio Tmax/Tn 2.3 provide a sufficient reserve for common technologies in industry. The starting current ratio Ist/In 9 must be taken into account when designing protection and power supply, especially in operations with limited network reserve.

The power factor of 0.89 and efficiency of 94.5 % are important when assessing long-term operating costs, especially where the motor runs for most of the day. In practical application, this brings a more stable current draw and better use of energy from transformers, switchgear and frequency converters. The motor is therefore suitable for technologies where not only shaft output is monitored, but also efficient management of electricity.
