Long description
Compared with an IE2 or IE3 class solution, the 4LC-250M-8 in the 30 kW version delivers noticeably more economical operation, while in the speed range of 700-750 rpm it can, in normal use, reduce energy losses by approximately 15 % to 20 % compared with IE3. For operators of pumps, fans, compressors and large machines, this is a practical way to reduce costs without compromising mechanical durability or operational reliability. This three-phase motor from VYBO Electric is designed for low-voltage networks where stable output, sound starting and long-term reliability are expected.
Energy savings during operation in the 700-750 rpm range
The IE4 design supports super premium efficiency of 92.7 %, so the motor converts more electrical energy into mechanical work and loses less of it as heat. The power factor of 0.77 corresponds to use in production units where balanced operation under continuous load is important. The rated current at delta 400 V connection is 58.5 A and at star 690 V connection it is 33.9 A, which makes control panel design and protection sizing easier.
Robust cast iron construction for demanding environments
The frame size of 250 mm and the substantial cast iron construction increase the strength of the assembly and help absorb vibrations from the drive. This solution is suitable where the motor is exposed to dusty, damp or more chemically demanding environments, because the all-cast-iron design resists corrosion better. The noise level of 75 dB(A) remains at a level that can be easily integrated into the technology without unnecessary acoustic burden on the surroundings.
Operating data for reliable drive design
The rated speed of 735 rpm, the starting torque ratio Tst/Tn of 1.8, the breakdown torque ratio Tmax/Tn of 2 and the starting current ratio Ist/In of 7.9 provide a clear picture of the motor behaviour at start-up and under load. The rotor inertia of 1.0 kg*m² supports predictable starting characteristics and the 6314-C3 bearings on both the DE and NDE sides increase service life under stable radial load. For installation, 2-M63X1.5 cable glands are prepared, and the equipment also includes 3 PTC thermistors for winding thermal protection.
Use in production technologies with higher load
- Pumps benefit from stable operation during long-term fluid transfer and where constant pressure is required.
- Fans benefit from smooth engagement and a suitable ratio between current and torque.
- Compressors appreciate firm starting and good behaviour under repeated loading.
- Centrifugal pumps gain a reliable drive for processes with long operating cycles.
- Cooling units work with a motor that handles continuous operation well.
- HVAC units use the low-speed character for stable airflow.
- Belt conveyors benefit from balanced output during continuous material transfer.
- Mill and crusher machines can use the robust mechanical reserve under impact load.
- Agitators in industrial tanks gain consistent speed for uniform mixing.
- Pressing technologies benefit from quiet and stable operation in cyclic use.
- Textile machines appreciate precise speed maintenance in sensitive production.
- Food processing lines can include the motor in a segment that emphasises reliability.
- Recuperation systems use efficient operation during long operating intervals.
- Aggregate assemblies in the power industry gain a motor suitable for compact industrial units.
- Large machine tools can rely on a powerful drive for more demanding operations.
Design details that simplify integration
The package dimensions of 1020*690*790 mm and the package weight of 436 kg make logistics planning easier for both receipt and installation in larger plants. The combination of 30 kW output, rated speed of 735 rpm and high efficiency creates a solution suitable for upgrading existing drives as well as designing new technologies. If you need to verify compatibility with your pump, fan, compressor or production line, check the suitability of the motor for your application and use the technical advice of VYBO Electric.
4LC-250M-8 with an output of 30 kW, voltage of 400/690 V and rated speed of 735 rpm is designed for reliable industrial drive applications. The 250 mm frame size and robust cast-iron construction help damp vibrations and resist corrosion in aggressive environments. VYBO Electric builds on its own research and development and is among the most important suppliers in Central Europe. Long description
