Long description
Compared with an IE2 or IE3 solution, the 4LC-250M-2 delivers noticeably more economical operation in the 2900-3000 rpm speed class, because its IE4 efficiency helps reduce energy losses by approximately 15% to 20% compared with IE3. At an output of 55 kW and rated speed of 2975 rpm, this 4LC-250M-2 is suitable where the motor is expected to provide stable torque, low operating losses and long-term reliability, together with technical advice from VYBO Electric.
The design with a 250 mm frame size and all-cast-iron construction is intended for use in operations where vibration, dust and corrosive influences must also be addressed. The robust cast-iron frame supports assembly rigidity and, in pumps, fans, compressors and large machines, helps maintain stable drive mounting even under prolonged load.
Operation in the 2900-3000 rpm range for energy-intensive technologies
The motor in this speed range is suitable for applications where smooth starting, high operational reliability and good response to load changes are important. The power factor of 0.89 and efficiency of 95.3% are particularly beneficial in continuous operation with higher electricity usage.
Power reserve during starting and load changes
The starting torque ratio Tst/Tn of 2 and the breakdown torque ratio Tmax/Tn of 2.3 provide sufficient power reserve for technologies with a higher initial load. The starting current ratio Ist/In of 9 also helps designers correctly size the starting system within low-voltage infrastructure.
Electrical connection and operating supervision
The rated current in the delta 400 V connection is 92.6 A and in the star 690 V connection it reaches 53.68 A, allowing the motor to be adapted to the specific supply and control concept. The 3 PTC thermistors support winding protection and makes it easier to monitor the thermal condition in industrial installations.
Rotor mounting and mechanical compatibility with operation
The DE 6314-C3 bearing and the NDE 6314-C3 bearing are selected for stable mounting and longer service life under continuous load. The rotor inertia of 0.5 kg*m² helps when assessing the drive dynamics, especially in assemblies with frequent starting and stopping.
