Applications for heavy-duty conveyor and material handling systems

How to choose the right version

For this power rating, the main decision points are voltage and pole count. The standard supply versions are 6000 V and 10 000 V; 3300 V and 11 000 V are also available on request. Fixed nominal speed groups depend on the selected pole version: 2POL approx. 2900-3000 rpm, 4POL approx. 1400-1500 rpm, 6POL approx. 900-1000 rpm, 8POL approx. 700-750 rpm, 10POL approx. 550-600 rpm and 12POL approx. 450-500 rpm. These are discrete operating speeds, not a continuously adjustable range.

Technical features for project selection

The drive solution uses a welded steel frame, IP55 enclosure and IC611 air-to-air cooling, with IC616 or IC666 available on request. Insulation class F, temperature rise class B and S1 continuous operation support demanding service conditions. Monitoring can include PT100 sensors, 3 PTC thermistors and a 230 V space heater. It is also suitable for use with a frequency converter when configured for the application. Operating limits are typically -20 °C to +40 °C and up to 1000 m a.s.l., with higher altitude possible on request.
