Voltage and speed options for the 1400 kW range

For projects that need a 1400 kW medium and high voltage electric motor, the first step is to match the supply network and required nominal speed. The H27R-HD-Modular series covers 6000 V and 10 000 V versions at this power rating, with 3300 V and 11 000 V available on request. Pole choices run from 2POL to 12POL, giving fixed nominal speed groups of approximately 2900-3000 rpm, 1400-1500 rpm, 900-1000 rpm, 700-750 rpm, 550-600 rpm and 450-500 rpm depending on the selected version.

Technical construction and operating features

This is a medium and high voltage three-phase asynchronous motor with a welded steel frame, IP55 enclosure and IC611 air-to-air cooling as standard. The design supports insulation class F, temperature rise class B and S1 continuous duty. Anti-friction bearings are used with grease or oil lubrication according to the final configuration, and the monitoring package can include PT100 sensors for stator and bearings, 3 PTC thermistors and a 230 V space heater. The motor can also be configured for frequency converter duty where the application requires it.

Typical uses and project support

These versions are well suited to water and wastewater pumping stations, circulation and raw-water pumps, ventilation systems, fans, compressors and other heavy-duty drive systems. In larger treatment works, they may also be specified for conveyors, mills and general industrial machinery where a robust H27R 1400 kW electric motor is required.
