Define the right 2000 kW configuration

When selecting a 2000 kW medium and high voltage electric motor, the key decision points are voltage, pole count, speed group and operating duty. The H27R-HD-Modular series from VYBO Electric is developed for project-specific technical configuration, with 6000 V and 10 000 V versions available for this power rating. Special 3300 V and 11 000 V options can also be supplied on request.

Technical overview of the H27R drive motor

This three-phase electric motor uses a robust welded steel frame, IP55 enclosure and IC611 air-to-air cooling as standard, with IC616 or IC666 available on request. Insulation class F and temperature rise class B support S1 continuous operation. The design can be configured for use with a frequency converter when the application requires it. Depending on the final build, the unit is fitted with anti-friction bearings lubricated by grease or oil, plus PT100 sensors for stator and bearings, 3 PTC thermistors and a 230 V space heater.

The nominal speed group is determined by the selected pole version: 2POL approx. 2900-3000 rpm, 4POL approx. 1400-1500 rpm, 6POL approx. 900-1000 rpm, 8POL approx. 700-750 rpm, 10POL approx. 550-600 rpm and 12POL approx. 450-500 rpm. Efficiency can reach 97.4 %, depending on the selected configuration and accessories. The series complies with IEC 60034-1, IEC 60034-2, IEC 60034-9, IEC 60034-14, IEC 60034-30-3 and IEC 60529.

Typical marine and offshore auxiliary duties

In marine and offshore auxiliary systems, the H27R 2000 kW electric motor can be specified for pumps, ventilation systems, compressors, conveyor drives, mills and other heavy industrial machinery where medium or high voltage supply is preferred. The modular platform helps match the motor to the installation layout, mounting form and monitoring requirements without changing the technical basis of the series.
