Heavy-duty drives for conveyors and material handling

The 2500 kW medium and high voltage electric motor in the H27R-HD-Modular series is suited to heavy-duty conveyor and material handling systems, including overland conveyors, apron feeders, bucket elevator drives and bulk handling lines. It also fits duties such as mill auxiliaries, large fans, compressors and ventilation systems where a reliable three-phase electric motor is required.

Choose the right voltage, pole count and speed

This power rating is available for 6000 V and 10 000 V networks, with 3300 V and 11 000 V available on request. Pole versions include 2POL, 4POL, 6POL, 8POL, 10POL and 12POL, with fixed nominal speed groups depending on the selected version: about 2900-3000 rpm, 1400-1500 rpm, 900-1000 rpm, 700-750 rpm, 550-600 rpm and 450-500 rpm respectively.

Configuration features and project options

The H27R 2500 kW electric motor combines a welded steel frame, IP55 enclosure, IC611 air-to-air cooling, insulation class F, temperature rise class B and S1 continuous duty. Anti-friction bearings can be grease or oil lubricated depending on the final configuration, while PT100 sensors, PTC thermistors and a 230 V space heater support monitoring and protection.
