3000 kW technical overview

The 3000 kW medium and high voltage electric motor in the H27R-HD-Modular series is a three-phase squirrel cage induction motor for industrial duty. It is available for 6000 V and 10 000 V supply systems, with 3300 V and 11 000 V offered on request. Available pole versions include 2POL, 4POL, 6POL, 8POL, 10POL and 12POL, giving fixed nominal speed groups of approximately 2900-3000 rpm, 1400-1500 rpm, 900-1000 rpm, 700-750 rpm, 550-600 rpm and 450-500 rpm.

Standard features include IP55 enclosure, IC611 air-to-air cooling, insulation class F, temperature rise class B and S1 continuous duty. The welded steel frame supports demanding operating conditions, while anti-friction bearings can be grease or oil lubricated depending on the final configuration. PT100 sensors for stator and bearings, 3 PTC thermistors and a 230 V space heater are part of the available protection package. The unit can also be configured for frequency converter operation when required.
