In energy and power generation drives, a 900 kW medium and high voltage electric motor is often selected for pumps, fans, compressors, ventilation systems, conveyors and other heavy industrial machinery. The H27R-HD-Modular series from VYBO Electric gives engineers a structured way to match the motor to the network, duty profile and installation layout.

Technical overview of the 900 kW motor range

The H27R 900 kW range consists of medium and high voltage three-phase squirrel cage induction motors. Standard supply voltages are 6000 V and 10 000 V; 3300 V and 11 000 V are available on request. The modular programme covers 2POL, 4POL, 6POL, 8POL, 10POL and 12POL, giving fixed nominal speed groups of approximately 2900-3000 rpm, 1400-1500 rpm, 900-1000 rpm, 700-750 rpm, 550-600 rpm and 450-500 rpm respectively.

Depending on configuration, efficiency is up to 97.4 %. Other core features include IP55 enclosure, IC611 air-to-air cooling, insulation class F, temperature rise class B and S1 continuous duty. The welded steel frame supports robust industrial service, while anti-friction bearings are supplied with grease or oil lubrication according to the final specification. Protection and monitoring can include PT100 sensors for stator and bearings, 3 PTC thermistors and a 230 V space heater. The motor is also suitable for frequency converter operation when configured for the application, and IC616 or IC666 cooling, plus other mounting designs beyond B3, B35, V1 and V15, can be arranged on request.

Choosing the right variant

Ambient conditions from -20 °C to +40 °C and installation up to 1000 m a.s.l. are covered in the standard scope, with higher altitude options available on request.
