Long description
When selecting a drive for production technology, we recommend starting with the operating point, load and required efficiency. The 4LC-315L2-8 model with an output of 110 kW belongs to the 700-750 rpm speed class and is suitable where operation must reliably transmit torque at low speed. At the same time, IE4 efficiency helps reduce energy losses by approximately 15 % to 20 % compared with IE3, which is particularly noticeable during long-term operation in production plants with high utilisation.
Higher efficiency in long-term operation in the 700-750 rpm range
The design of this series is focused on economical and stable operation in applications where continuous load and precisely controlled output are expected. The three-phase motor with a rated voltage of 400 V in delta connection and 690 V in Y connection provides flexibility in switchboard design as well as integration into existing low-voltage infrastructure. The rated current is 202 A at 400 V and 117.1 A at 690 V, while the power factor of 0.81 supports operation in assemblies where sensible use of the grid is important.
The starting torque ratio Tst/Tn 1.6 and the breakdown torque Tmax/Tn 2 show that the motor is ready for applications with controlled starting and the need for sufficient reserve when the load changes.
