Long description
Motor 4LC-315M-6 with an output of 90 kW is intended for operations where stable torque, high energy efficiency and long-term operational reliability in the speed range 900-1000 rpm are required. In practice, it delivers efficiency which, in the IE4 class, reduces energy losses by approximately 15 % to 20 % compared with IE3, which is reflected in lower consumption and reduced thermal loading of the drive. This three-phase motor is therefore suitable for modernisations where quick payback and stable performance in demanding industrial use are expected.
IE4 efficiency reduces operating losses in everyday use
The design is based on principles used in efficient motors with advanced materials, sophisticated windings and optimised air gaps. As a result, the motor achieves an efficiency of 95.6 % and a power factor of 0.85, which is especially advantageous in production lines with long operating cycles. For technology deliveries and industrial units, this means lower energy losses while maintaining the required starting dynamics.
The shaft height of 315 mm provides a robust basis for use in heavier applications where solid mounting, precise rotor balancing and reliable bearing support are required. A packed weight of 868 kg and packed dimensions of 1412*727*1026 mm make it easier to plan handling, transport and installation space. Operation in the range 900-1000 rpm for stable industrial drives
The speed class 900-1000 rpm suits applications where balanced operation and a good match with the technology operating point are important. Rated speed of 990 rpm is suitable for both direct and geared drives, where smooth starting and consistent performance are preferred. Starting torque with a ratio of Tst/Tn 1.6 and breakdown torque with a ratio of Tmax/Tn 2 provide sufficient reserve for normal load in industrial practice.
The starting current with a ratio of Ist/In 8 must be taken into account when designing protection, switching and power supply sizing. With a rated current of 400 V 158 A and a rated current of Y 690 V 91.6 A, the motor can be integrated into low-voltage infrastructure with an appropriate connection method.
